A couple who shares the similar surname as good old St. Nick just welcomed a baby boy on Christmas day.

Amanda (Mandy) Clause gave birth to Lorenzo Luciano Clause, who was born weighing 7 pounds, 11 ounces on Dec. 25 at UPMC Horizon in Farrell, Pennsylvania, the hospital confirmed to "Good Morning America."

"He truly is a Christmas miracle and the best gift we will ever receive," dad Randy Clause told "GMA." "We hope it brought people joy to hear our story."

Baby Lorenzo arrived a surprising eight days early, so his Christmas birthday was, in fact, not planned.

Amanda and Randy Clause welcomed baby Lorenzo Luciano Clause, 7 lbs, 11 oz, into the world eight days early on Dec. 25 at 9:47 a.m.

"The staff also joked on Christmas Eve, 'We hope the baby waits until midnight to arrive so he’s born on Christmas Day,' and that’s exactly what happened,"

The Clause family, from New Castle, Pennsylvania, posed for photos with Lorenzo, who fittingly wore a Santa hat after his birth.
