Runaways ages 12 to 21 can now find a free ride home through Greyhound.
The company has partnered with National Runaway Safeline to help runaway kids get back to their families or legal guardians.
To receive a ticket, children between the ages of 12 and 21 must call the NRS helpline, be named on a runaway report and be willing to be reunited with their family. The family must also be willing to be reunited with the child.
The program, entitled Home Free, can only be used on two occasions by the same person.
Parents and legal guardians will receive a free ticket if the young person is under the age of 15.
To reach the hotline, call 1-800-RUNAWAY (1-800-786-2929).
