JACKSONVILLE, FL — An animal shelter in Jacksonville has nearly cleared out before Hurricane Dorian arrives.
According to the Jacksonville Humane Society, nearly all of their pets will ride out Hurricane Dorian in Storm Trooper foster homes.
The response to help the shelter out was "tremendous" and they said they can't thank the community enough.
"We feel so incredibly lucky to be a part of such a kind, compassionate community," the post said.
