FAIRFIELD, TX — The Freestone County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating two men they say trespassed onto a property and stole two mowers.

According to FCSO, on Sunday, June 21 between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., a silver or tan-colored Dodge Quad Cab Dually with an oversize aftermarket exhaust tip trespassed onto a property located a half-mile north of Fairfield. FCSO says the men used a service road and entered the property after cutting the chain and lock on the gate.

After trespassing onto the property, FCSO says the suspects gained access to a neighboring property and stole two Maverick brand 60-inch cut zero-turn mowers.

FCSO says the suspects appear to be Hispanic males, possibly caucasian, between 5 foot 6 inches tall and 5 foot 10 inches tall. Both possibly weigh 200 pounds or more.

Anyone with information on the men, truck, or recently purchased zero-turn mowers is asked to contact the department at 903-389-3236.
