Two men are arrested after a narcotics transaction, turned attempted robbery, lead to shots being fired at a Taco Bell in College Station Friday night.

Police say a man on foot, identified as Isaac Vasquez, 18, met someone in a truck at the Taco Bell at 7:40 p.m. Friday night for a narcotics transaction.

The person in the truck then tried to rob Vasquez. Vasquez then fired shots at the truck before running to the The Pearl Apartments.

After investigating, police located Vasquez and arrested him on charges of "Evading and Deadly Conduct." Police say the charge is based on Vasquez firing his weapon recklessly in an area where many people could have been shot.

Police then executed a search warrant around 2 a.m. at the apartment Vasquez had run to, since they believed his gun to be inside the apartment. A person inside the apartment would not answer the door, so SWAT was called to assist with serving the warrant shortly before 5 a.m. Saturday, said police.

The gun was located, and police also found a man hiding inside the apartment, identified as Jason Stovall, 35, according to officials. Police arrested Stovall around 6:15 a.m. on charges of "Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz."

The investigation is ongoing. Police ask that anyone with information related to this incident call the College Station Police Department at (979) 764-3600.
