COLLEGE STATION, TX — A teen has been arrested for making a terroristic threat against a College Station charter school.
According to the College Station Police Department, around 10:25 a.m., officers were dispatched to the International Leadership of Texas (IL Texas) Charter School, located at 3610 Longmire Drive, for a report of a terroristic threat made by a student.
Police say on Friday, a 14-year-old boy threatened to kill people at the school. The threat was directed towards staff and other students.
The school was alerted to the threat on Monday morning, and notified police. CSPD says after an investigation, the student was taken into custody.
The department says there is no reason to believe there is any ongoing threat.
