WACO, TX — Raising Canes raised over $1,135 to support local pets at Fuzzy Friends Rescue.

Every holiday season, Raising Cane's sells limited-edition plush puppies in order to help pets in need.

Raising Canes says in 2019, customers were invited to purchase Jingle Cane, a collectible stuffed puppy, who was dressed as a festive Jingle Bell. 100% of the net proceeds from the plush puppy purchases are donated to pet welfare organizations in each of Raising Cane’s local communities.

Raising Cane’s donated $1,135.05 to Fuzzy Friends Rescue during a special check presentation with the organization’s leaders.

“Raising Cane’s is committed to staying actively involved in our community and providing support for local pets is one of our main focuses,” said Mark Strouse, Area Leader of Restaurants. “We are very grateful for all of the generous Caniacs that pitched in to make this donation possible. We are proud to help support the life-changing work Fuzzy Friends Rescue does for pets in our community.”

Raising Cane’s says it has been committed to being actively involved in their communities since the beginning. In 2019, they supported over 20,000 organizations in six areas of focus including: education, pet welfare, active lifestyle, feeding the hungry and entrepreneurism.
