Premier ER & Urgent Care has suspended COVID-19 testing until further notice due to supply shortages in the state.
In a message on the website, the company said Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. (CPL), a primary resource for the state's testing demands, has also suspended all coronavirus tests excluding hospitalized patients, healthcare workers and pre-op surgical requirements.
Premier ER & Urgent Care said its priority is to restore testing capacity and will continue to pursue options.
There are several Central Texas locations, including in Waco, Woodway, Temple and China Spring.
