COLLEGE STATION, TX — The College Station Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a white Pomeranian involved in an animal bite incident.

According to the department, around 8:20 a.m. on Monday, September 16, College Station Animal Control took a report of an animal bite that occurred in the area of Whistling Straits Drive and Royal Adelade Loop in the Pebble Creek Subdivision.

Police say the victim was bitten during an incident involving two dogs. Both dogs were on leashes at the time of the bite.

One of the dogs involved has been identified. The second dog has not been located.

Police say the second dog is described as a white Pomeranian that was being walked by an older woman.

College Station Animal Control is asking the public for help in locating the second dog involved in the bite. Animal Control says the dog needs to be located and observed to rule out potential rabies exposure to the victim. Anyone with information is asked to call 979-764-3600.
