COLLEGE STATION, TX — Police are investigating after a 5-month-old child was killed in an accident on Sunday.
College Station police said around 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Dove Chase Lane for a reported motor vehicle accident. A 5-month-old child was struck by a vehicle near the location and was transported to a local hospital for emergency care.
The child was later pronounced dead.
The area was closed for some time while the investigation and reconstruction of the accident.
Police said no criminal charges were filed as a result of the fatal accident.
Police are still investigating the accident.
