COLLEGE STATION, TX — A drug dealer was arrested and narcotics were seized by police within 1,000 feet of a public playground during the execution of a narcotics search warrant.

The College Station Police Department executed the search warrant Thursday morning in south College Station to conclude a multi-month investigation.

Over 350 ecstacy pills, over 400 grams of promethazine syrup with codeine, and over 13 pounds of marijuana were seized. Police say about $6,000 worth of jewelry, over $65,000 in cash, a handgun and two cars, a Jaguar and a Tesla, were also seized.

Three people were arrested on five total drug charges. CCPD says the penalties on these charges could be enhanced since they were within 1,000 feet of a public playground.

CCPD is asking anyone who sees suspicious activity to report it by calling (979) 764-3600 or submit an anonymous tips through Brazos County Crime Stoppers at (979) 775-TIPS (8477).
