COLLEGE STATION, TX — College Station police arrested a man who was accused of bringing a gun into a Northgate bar Tuesday night.
Police said 21-year-old Raman Ghimire was kicked out of The Backyard after he started to cause problems inside the bar.
When police arrived they learned Ghimire had a gun with him when he was inside The Backyard.
Officers found Ghimire in the parking lot, spoke to him and found the handgun in his jacket pocket. Police said he did not have a license to carry a gun.
He was then arrested and booked into the Brazos County Jail for unlawful carrying of a weapon in a premises licensed for the sale of alcoholic beverages. As of Wednesday morning, his bond has not been set.
