COLLEGE STATION, TX — A 20-year-old woman was arrested for assaulting her girlfriend with a knife after an argument over cigarillos.

According to the arrest affidavit, officers were called out to the Callaway Villas around 7:16 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, for a reported disturbance in progress. The caller told dispatch their neighbors were loud, throwing things and heard someone say she was going to cut someone with a knife.

When officers arrived, they found 20-year-old Dajah Olandria Clark of College Station standing on the sidewalk in front of the apartment.

Clark told officers there had been a dispute between her and her girlfriend of over 2 years.

Clark said her girlfriend had picked her up from work and the two went to a store to purchase cigarillos. Clark said she refused to purchase cigarillos for her girlfriend, which started an argument. The girlfriend left Clark at the store, so she walked to the apartment, which she had lived at with her girlfriend since August 2019.

Clark told officers she went into her girlfriend's bedroom to get her stuff she had given the girlfriend in the past. Clark said she cut up the girlfriend's video games, broke her TV and a basketball trophy.

She said the girlfriend pushed her down two flights of stairs with two hands and that's when they "started fighting."

Clark told officers the girlfriend threw a jar of coconut oil at Clark, which missed and broke a picture frame. The girlfriend allegedly carried on the fight outside because they were going to "fight in the streets."

Clark said the girlfriend threw the jar at her while outside, which hit her right heel. The girlfriend then allegedly locked Clark out of the house. Clark then threw the jar at one of the windows, shattering it.

Clark told officers she did not have any injuries but the girlfriend did. Officers asked Clark what kind of injuries the girlfriend had. She responded that she knew the girlfriend had scratches on her face.

Clark told officers the scratches were a result of them physically fighting on the stairs.

Officers then asked Clark why someone said there was a weapon involved. Clark then responded, "Yeah, a knife."

Officers asked Clark how the knife came into play. Clark responded, "When she wouldn't give me my stuff that's when I pulled a knife on her."

Officers then asked Clark what happened to the knife. She said the girlfriend took it from her.

Clark described the knife as a kitchen knife that she found in the girlfriend's bathroom. Clark said the girlfriend had her computer, and she told the girlfriend she needed to give her the computer.

Clark said she started "swinging the knife in front of her face" because "the only way to get the computer was to threaten her with a knife."

Clark told officers the girlfriend disarmed her and hid the knife to get away from her.

Officers asked Clark if she thought the girlfriend was fearful about the knife. Clark responded, "Yeah that was my intentions, to scare her."

When officers entered the apartment, they noticed several fresh, bloody injuries on the girlfriend. She also had several long and swollen scratches on her neck and face.

The girlfriend told officers her right thumb was also injured.

The girlfriend corroborated Clark's entire account from picking her up from work, going to the gas station to buy cigarillos and leaving Clark at the gas station.

According to the girlfriend, Clark showed up at the apartment and started banging on the front door. The girlfriend opened the front door to allow Clark to collect her stuff.

Clark came inside and that was when the "fighting started happening" involving the knife. The girlfriend said she tried to grab her stuff and Clark started "swinging at me."

The girlfriend said she pushed Clark away from her.

When officers asked how the knife became involved, the girlfriend said Clark grabbed the knife and held it to her face.

The girlfriend said Clark kept making gestures like she was going to "stab me." The girlfriend also told officers Clark screamed, "I'll kill you!" while displaying the knife.

The girlfriend told officers she was trying to pack her belongings to go to her coach's house whenever the knife was displayed. She also told officers she was scared for her life.

Clark said she already knew police in and the girlfriend's coaches were en route, and knew if she was stabbed help was on the way.

The girlfriend said Clark held the knife to her side and jabbed forward with it. The girlfriend said she dodged the strike and Clark raised the knife overhead to stab downward. The girlfriend said she grabbed Clark's arm and ripped the knife away from her grasp.

The girlfriend said Clark exited the apartment and she locked her out.

Clark was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on a date/family/house with a weapon. She is being held on a $10,000 bond.
