GROESBECK, TX — The City of Groesbeck announced today there will be a planned water outage.

According to the City, the outage will begin at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17. The outage is expected to last approximately one hour.

According to the City, water customers should expect low to no water pressure during that time. The City also says they will be required by law to issue a boil water notice following the outage.

The outage is needed in order for Public Works crews to be able to place a shut-off valve on an 8-inch main line that connects each side of the city.

Any questions regarding the outage can be directed to Public Works Director Keith Tilley or City Administrator Chris Henson at 254-729-3272.
