AXTELL, TX — Crews are working on an accident involving a tanker truck.
A tanker truck has overturned on Highway 31 and Sutherland Rd. Eastbound traffic is stopped, so drivers should seek an alternative route.
DPS said that a Dodge passenger car was travelling westbound on FM 2311. The passenger car failed to yield right of way at the stop intersection. The passenger car pulled into the path of the truck tractor causing the vehicles to collide. The collision caused the truck tractor to roll over onto its side.
Bellmead Fire Department, Waco Fire Department and Hazmat are on scene, as well as Bellmead police, DPS and the McLennan County Sheriff's Office.
