BURNET COUNTY — Two operators of the Joshua Home for Boys have been arrested for trafficking of persons.

According to the Burnet County Sheriff's Office, on August 6, a grand jury indicted 49-year-old Gary Dwayne Wiggins and 34-year-old Meghann Shereen Wiggins after an investigation into their operation of the Joshua Home for Boys in Burnet County.

BCSO says the two were indicted for one count each of trafficking of persons, a first degree felony.

The Wiggins were arrested without incident in Escambia County, Alabama. BCSO says both waived extradition and were transported to the Burnet County Jail.

Both Gary and Meghann Wiggins are in custody with a bond amount of $100,000 each.

BCSO says the charges will be prosecuted by the 33rd/424th District Attorney's Office in Burnet County.
