SATIN, TX — The Falls County Sheriff's Office said they have caught the man accused of assaulting a pastor with a metal pipe near Chilton.
There was a manhunt underway Wednesday evening.
Officials said the man assaulted the pastor at a church in Satin on FM 434 around 7:30 p.m., and then the suspect fled the scene on foot in his underwear.
The suspect is a known person to authorities, but his name is not being released at this time.
The pastor was taken to a local hospital to be treated for facial eye and head injuries, said officials.
