When James Ward, the owner of Farm House restaurant in Mexia, heard a pastor was trying to feed an entire hotel in town, he sprang to action.
People sheltering from the cold were able to get a hot meal free of charge at both the Best Western and Comfort Inn.
More than 200 people were served thanks to Pastor John Reddoch and his wife, Linda's effort to feed the need.
