COLLEGE STATION, TX — A man was killed just after midnight when he was struck by a car while trying to fill up his gas tank.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said the victim, 34-year-old Christopher Price, ran out of gas while driving on Highway 6. He was working to fill up the truck that was sitting in a traffic lane when he was hit by a sedan.
Price was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
DPS said the driver is cooperating with investigators. No charges have been filed as of Friday morning.
