MADISONVILLE, TX — A man is dead after a rollover crash in Madisonville on Tuesday.
According to DPS, at 10:05 a.m., five miles southwest of Madisonville on FM 1372, there was a rollover crash.
A 2014 Ford 250 pickup was traveling southbound when the truck left the roadway, vaulted on a curve and rolled over several times.
The driver, 81-year-old Robert Dorris of North Zulch, was pronounced dead at the scene by a Justice of the Peace at 10:36 a.m.
Dorris was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash. DPS said there is no telling if speed was a factor in the crash.
The investigation in ongoing.
Dorris was a dentist in Madisonville.
