MARLIN, TX — A man in his mid-20's is "clinging to life" after being shot multiple times at a get together in south Marlin early this morning.

The Fall's County Sheriff's Office says around 1:15 a.m, a disagreement led to a man being shot multiple times at a get together in Marlin.

The man was taken to the Falls Community Hospital and Clinic then flown to Baylor Scott & White in Temple, according to the Fall's County Sheriff's Office.

He underwent surgery and is now "clinging to life," the Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies do have a person of interest but are asking the public to contact the Fall's County Sheriff's Office if they have any information on the shooting.
