MADISON COUNTY, TX — Officials in Madison County have issued a burn ban following extreme dry conditions.
The ban applies to "all" outdoor burning.
Outdoor burning is prohibited in accordance with the order and shall continue for so long as such conditions exist, as they currently do, since the area is experiencing extreme fire danger due to dry conditions.
Local residents are cautioned to stay alert, even when grilling or smoking outside.
