Here is a list of businesses and activity centers who have closed their doors due to the coronavirus.
The City of Waco announced several city facilities will close through March 29 to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Those facilities include:
- Cameron Park Zoo
- City of Waco Community Centers
- City of Waco Senior Centers
- Waco Convention Center & Visitors’ Bureau
- Texas Ranger Hall of Fame
- Waco Mammoth National Monument
- Riverbend Ballpark/Hart-Patterson Track and Field Complex
The Dr. Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Institute, Gift Shop, and Soda Fountain will be closed starting March 14 until further notice.
The Ralph Wilson Youth Club of Temple will be closed from March 16 through March 20.
Freight Icehouse and Yardbar in Waco has been closed until further notice.
The Boys & Girls Club of Lampasas will be closed from March 16 through March 20.
The Mayborn Museum will be closed through March 29.
The YMCA of Central Texas will close their locations for two weeks starting at 6pm on Saturday, March 14. This closure includes all programs, activities, sports events, and after-school care. The closure is expected to last two weeks and they anticipate reopening our YMCA facilities on Monday, March 30, 2020.
