KILLEEN, TX — Killeen police have an investigation underway into an early Saturday traffic accident.
Officers say they responded to the wreck at IH-14 about 3:30 Saturday morning to find two men lying in the westbound lanes near the Fort Hood Street exit ramp.
43-year-old Reggie Stamps apparently died on-scene, while 53 year-old Kerwin Royce Kilgore died later at a nearby hospital.
For now, investigators believe Stamps, a pedestrian walking along 14 in the outside lane gott hit by Kilgore's 2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide in wet and foggy conditions.
Doctors will perform Autopsies on both men, while the Killeen Police investigation continues.
