Car break-ins hit Clifton: police urge residents to lock vehicles

CLIFTON, Texas (KXXV) — Several unlocked cars were burglarized overnight in Clifton. Police have identified one suspect and are still investigating.

Police say theaves went through town checking car doors until they found unlocked vehicles to break into.

Police remind residents to:

  • Lock car doors at night.
  • Remove valuables from vehicles.
  • Call (251) 435-2362 and ask for a Clifton officer if your car was burglarized.

The current investigation is still ongoing.
