BELL COUNTY, Texas (KXXV) — A driver crashed into a guardrail in Bell County early Saturday morning while driving the wrong way at the I-14 and I-35 merge.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says Nakole Akila Curry of Killeen drove a 2022 Jeep Compass the wrong way on I-14 near Nolanville. She continued heading east in the westbound lanes, taking the merge at I-35.
DPS says the 24-year-old crashed into a guardrail and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
