Temple Fire & Rescue battling fire on Industrial Boulevard
MAY 27: UPDATE
Fire officials confirmed to 25 News that an abandoned nursing home behind an apartment complex on Industrial Boulevard burned down. Apartment residents were evacuated as a precaution, but the apartment complex was not affected.
Firefighters say the call went out after 8:30 p.m. Atmos crews were called out to turn off gas lines in the area. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
ORIGINAL STORY
Temple Fire & Rescue is currently fighting a fire in the 700 block of Industrial Boulevard. Industrial Boulevard between 3rd and 15th streets is currently closed off to through traffic.
