TEMPLE, Texas (KXXV) — The field at Lamar Middle School in Temple ISD has a new name.
Between games on Tuesday, Temple ISD honored alumnus Brad Dusek by changing Lamar Competition Field to Brad Dusek field.
Dusek played football for Temple ISD before playing as a Texas A&M Aggie and then in the National Football League.
He died in 2024 at the age of 73.
