Westbound lanes of I-14 at Trimmier are open to traffic.
Killeen police say a 2014 Honda hit a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle around 4:15 Thursday morning on westbound I-14 at the Trimmier overpass. Police say the Honda driver was traveling at an "extremely high rate of speed."
The 28-year-old man on the motorcycle died at the scene.

Killeen police have issued a traffic alert Thursday morning.
Officers are investigating a deadly crash on I-14. All westbound lanes are closed at Trimmier Road, and traffic is being diverted to the exit.
