KILLEEN, Texas (KXXV) — The City of Killeen is warning residents of a boil water notice in place on Tuesday.
The city says a contractor hit a transmission main under I-14 near the Jasper Road overpass on Monday, leading to a notice for the Middle Pressure Plain.

City crews restored service to the area, but because the line temporarily lost pressure the city says customers in the affected area should boil any tap water used for drinking, cooking, or making ice until further notice.
