UPDATE

The Harker Heights Fire Department has released more information on the fire that started Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters arrived after 1 p.m. to find the Texas Skateland on fire. They found no one inside the building. Due to the heat and conditions of the fire, several firefighters were treated for heat-releated emergencies.

Harker Heights police and firefighters from Nolanville, Killeen, and Belton also responded to the scene.
