HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas (KXXV) — The City of Harker Heights will celebrate its new top cop this week.
Sonja Clay is taking over as the Chief of Police.
A ceremony is planned Friday, September 26 at the Harker Heights Activities Center. It starts at 3 p.m.
Please join us as the Harker Heights Police Department celebrates the promotion of Sonja Clay from Deputy Chief to Chief of Police!
Clay wil replace Betiale Hawkins, who was promoted to the position of Assistant City Manager.
