UPDATE:
The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the driver killed in a crash Thursday in Bell County.
Troopers say a driver from Bastrop crossed his Chevrolet pickup truck into the path of a Ford Mustang, driven by a 20-year-old from Temple.
Investigators have identified the driver killed as David Jackson, who died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
UPDATE 1:57 P.M.:
The Holland Volunteer Fire Department posted that the crash was cleared and Highway 95 reopened just before 10:30 a.m.
ORIGINAL 6:43 A.M.:
A deadly two-vehicle crash early Thursday is causing traffic delays between Bartlett and Holland.
The Bell County Sheriff’s Office says it is assisting the Texas Highway Patrol with the crash response on Texas 95 near Linderman Road.
The highway is blocked in both directions, and drivers are encouraged to find another route.
The sheriff's office says at least one person has died in the crash, but no other information is available.
