The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) Wednesday.
Beginning at 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, FEMA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will send the nationwide test to radio and television stations.
The test will not include a message on cellphones.
