HILLSBORO, Texas (KXXV) — A fatal traffic accident occurred Thursday night on Interstate 35 in Hillsboro.
The crash happened near the 365-mile marker. A Dodge pickup was driving slowly across multiple lanes with dim headlights when it was struck by a truck-tractor. The Dodge pickup rolled over and caught fire.
The Dodge pickup driver died at the scene; the truck-tractor driver was not injured.
Hillsboro police are still investigating
