FALLS COUNTY, TX — Falls County officials say a suspected drug dealer was arrested Monday after authorities received a tip on the suspect's whereabouts.

The suspect, Robert Paul Jr., 41, of Marlin, had been in hiding and on the run for some time, according to the Falls County Sheriff's Office.

The FCSO assembled a team and when deputies arrived at the apartment, they found Paul, Jr. hiding in between two mattresses.

He was wanted on multiple charges, including abandoning and endangering a child, evading arrest, possession of marijuana, and bail jumping.

That same day, Falls County deputies made several other drug arrests.

Deputies conducted a search of a residence off County Road 106 that led to the discovery of a small amount of methamphetamine. Two people were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance: Peter Palasota, 52, of Marlin, and Britoni Morse, 24, of Marlin. Both remain in the Falls County Jail on $5,000 bonds.

Later the same night, deputies located a suspicious vehicle while on patrol and found an occupant inside. The occupant, Ray Tuttle, 42 of Marlin, had methamphetamine on him. Officials say it was more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams. Tuttle was also arrested for possession and remains in Falls County jail on bonds totaling $10,000.
