Employee at Pointwest Bank in West tests positive for COVID-19

WEST, TX — A drive-thru employee at Pointwest Bank in West, Texas tested positive for COVID-19.

Pointwest Bank say in an abundance of caution for the safety of customers and employees, they are temporarily closing their West lobby and drive-thru locations.

"As a cautionary measure, all of our West staff is being tested. Until those test results come back, we feel it is in everyone’s best interest that we close the West lobby and drive-thru. For several months, we have contracted with MicroX to disenfect and protect all of our locations with a spray that continues working up to 90 days. MicroX just reapplied this product today as a precaution. We plan on opening the lobby and drive-thru back up as soon as possible."

Bank customers can still stay connected by using Pointwest's full suite of online and mobile banking options.

The Hewitt and China Spring locations remain open.
