GATESVILLE, TX — One Gatesville nursing home resident searching for a Dr. Pepper-loving pen pal received a special delivery Wednesday.
Hillside Medical Lodge took to Facebook to search for connections for their 52 residents. One of those residents was Billie. She was looking for someone who wanted to talk about Dr. Pepper and their family.
The photos were quickly spread across the Internet and landed in front of the right eyes.
Dr. Pepper delivered 16 cases of special bottles for Billie and the other residents.
