CLIFTON, TX — The Clifton Police Department is warning the public after a credit card skimmer was removed from a gas station.
They said they found the skimmer at pump 1 at the Chevron 102 S Ave G. They added that management is taking steps to prevent this from happening again.
It is believed that the skimmer was placed less than 24 hours ago due to recent maintenance on the fuel pump. The skimmer was found on Tuesday.
Anyone having purchased fuel at this location should review your bank account or credit card account to make sure you are not a victim of this skimmer.
