CORSICANA, TX — Corsicana police are searching for a hit-and-run suspect after a pedestrian was severely injured on the I-45 Service Road and flown to the hospital the night of July 24.
Police were alerted at 11:20 p.m. of a pedestrian severely injured on the I-45 Service Road in the 5000 block near Mile Marker 227. This is about a mile north of Angus, TX, said police.
The victim had to be transported by helicopter to a Dallas area hospital, said officials.
The photo provided by police is the area where the hit-and-run occurred.
Police ask anyone with information or who saw anything suspicious between the hours of 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Wed., July 24 to notify Detective Sgt. Dan McAninch at (903) 654-4911.
