COPPERAS COVE, TX — Copperas Cove firefighters are working to put out a fire in a neighborhood near Allen St. The fire erupted after an explosion at a home.
Officials say the fire completely consumed the home. One person was transported to the hospital.
Witnesses in the area heard a large explosion before the fire.
Officials said that it is not believed that natural gas has anything to do with the fire.
They are working on putting out hot spots.
