DAWSON, TX — Authorities are investigating after the copper wiring was stolen from the Dawson ISD baseball field light poles.
According to the Dawson Police Department, around 2:13 a.m. on August 25 and around 12:57 a.m. on August 26, one or multiple suspects entered the Dawson High School entrance in a silver or gray pickup.

The truck proceeded with its headlights off to the Dawson ISD baseball and softball fields.
Dawson PD says the suspect(s) were there for approximately one hour both nights. The copper wiring was stolen out of the baseball field light poles.
