MEXIA, TX — The Mexia Area Nutrition, Needs, and Homeless Advocates say they are working on a community garden.

The garden will be located on McKinney Street on property that has sat vacant for years.

The organization says they will be demolishing old building and preparing beds for planting.

"We hope to encourage community members to be a part of the growth," the post says.

MANNHA (Mexia Area Nutrition, Needs, and Homeless Advocates) is a coalition of members of the community passionate about helping those in need.
