CLIFTON, TX — The Clifton Police Department said that a lock down was issued at the Clifton ISD elementary school after a disturbance between two adults.
They said the disturbance started at a residence and later happened at the school on Tuesday.
The school was in lockdown until officer could arrive and address the situation.
Once officers had resolved the conflict, the lockdown was lifted and normal routines were resumed.
Police said that due to the lockdown protocol being initiated and officers immediate response, this situation was fully contained and at no time were any students involved or at risk.
