COLLEGE STATION, TX — CHI St. Joseph Health is closing their freestanding emergency center.
In a press release, the company announced the emergency center, located at 4411 State Highway 6, will close at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, November 30.
All services currently located and associated with emergency care will move to the CHI St. Joseph Health College Station Hospital, located at 1604 Rock Prairie Road.
Imaging and laboratory services will still be accessible.
CHI St. Joseph Health said staff at the South College Station ER will shift to the College Station Hospital ER. The company said it is expected that there will be no elimination of staffing due to the closure.
