Limestone County Deputies responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle parked near the Navasota River.
After arriving on scene, officials discovered the car was reported stolen out of Groesbeck.
The car was removed from the river without incident, say officials.
Sgt. Bell with the Heart of Texas Auto Theft Task Force assisted the Limestone County Sheriff's Department with the case.
