KEMPNER, TX — A car crashed straight through the Kempner City Hall Building located off of Highway 190 on Saturday morning.
Mayor Keith Harvey said the city is handling the matter and it has his utmost attention.
The Mayor went on to thank all of the first responders, city staff, volunteers, council members and citizens.
According to reports, Kempner police, Kempner Volunteer Fire Department and Texas Department of Public Safety all responded to the scene.
Mayor Harvey gave an update to city hall on Monday.
He said if anyone is trying to contact city hall, you need to refer to the city website. Any non emergency calls can be directed to the sheriff's department until further notice.
