CENTRAL TEXAS — McAlister's Deli is now taking votes for the Tea Town Showdown.
This summer, each McAlister's Deli restaurant will choose a local cause to compete in for the competition. The champion will receive $10,000 toward the local partner that the restaurant has chosen.
Second place will receive $5,000 for the local community partner, and third place will receive $2,500.
With just a quick vote online, you can help the cause.
You can also purchase a tea from your McAlister's Deli location to cast your vote.
There are several locations in Central Texas that have chosen a local cause to compete for.
The location at Baylor has chosen the Cameron Park Zoo. The location is currently in fourth place of the competition with 3,461 votes.

They are behind the third place location in Mississippi, which currently has 4,282 votes.
Waco's location that chose Mission Waco is in the top 25 with 235 votes.
The Temple location has chosen the Hope for the Hungry. Killeen's location has chosen Variety's Peaceable Kingdom Retreat for Children.
Hewitt's location has chosen the Junior League of Waco.
You can vote once a day until July 18.
