BUCKHOLTS, TX — Three Central Texas school districts have cancelled school due to a large number of student illnesses.
Buckholts ISD, Fairfield ISD, and Teague ISD posted that they have canceled class.
Buckholts ISD said they will be canceling classes for Friday, January 31. School will resume on Monday, February 3. Buses will run at 10:30 a.m.
Fairfield ISD said they have canceled classes for Friday, January 31 and Monday, January 3. School will resume on Tuesday, February 4.
Teague ISD has canceled classes for Friday, January 31. Friday night basketball has also been canceled.
Buckholts ISD said custodians will go through every room and deep clean to minimize further spread of the illnesses.
