BREMOND, Texas — Bremond ISD announced on Facebook they will switch over to remote learning until Dec. 4.

"OK Folks we gave it our best shot. We have over 120 people out today between students and staff." the post said. "We will be going remote for the remainder of the week."

According to the statement, the district is expecting COVID cases to continue rising; they also expect remote learning to have to continue likely until after Christmas break.

However, said decision will not be made until Dec. 4.

“We do not have enough subs to cover classes or enough bus drivers to run routes. This is NOT what we want to do but feel like it is best for the health of our staff and students.”

Right now, they are asking parents and students alike to be prepared for said likely scenario.
